So You're 40? What Should Be Your Exercise Focus?

Generally, at about age 40, maintaining bone mass density and improving coordination and balance should become more of a focus during your training.

Weight lifting continues to be important during this stage of life but aerobic training may become lower-impact. Balance and coordination can be improved by doing stability ball exercises and one-leg/one-arm standing exercises.
